Ciao!
The Spensley Street Italian stars have been working very
hard this week. Many students finished their profiles, which are looking
fabulous! I have really enjoyed learning about the children’s interests,
hobbies and families. You too will be able to find out more about the talented
children of Spensley Street when their profiles go up on display around
the school soon.
The Prep – Grade 2s learnt a song this week called “Dieci
Fiorellini” (“Ten Little Flowers”), which they have been singing to practice
the numbers 1-10. A few children already knew the song from when they had
been exploring the links from the blog, which is fantastic! Click here to sing
along at home: Dieci Fiorellini
The older students used their knowledge of describing hair
and eye colour to play “Com’รจ?”. To play this Guess Who game click
here: Com'e`?

Next week we will begin thinking and learning about the five
senses, which I am very excited about! I made a picture to help you learn the
Italian names for the five senses. See if you can learn them all and have a family member test you!
Have a wonderful long weekend!
Steph.
